Mint, basil and vanilla home-made soaps

This soap is sure to make you smell divine! Infused with mint, basil and vanilla, it’s almost good enough to eat. On that note, I feel obligated to offer a special warning to those of you who have small children around – please, people, keep the soap tucked safely away in a drawer. I’m sure I don’t need to tell you how curious little ones can be! If it smells good and looks good they’ll try to eat it! I learned my lesson the hard way on Sunday morning – luckily for us this soap isn’t carcinogenic. That’s what the emergency room doctor told us, anyway!

What I really love about this concept is the idea that you can really jazz this soap up and take it to the next level by setting some smaller sized soaps into cookie moulds and then melting them back onto the main soap later. No matter what moulds and aromatics you decide to use, you will end up with something very unique. And delicious looking. Again, please be careful where you store these, especially if you have large dogs that will eat just about anything. Rocko ended up pretty sick after eating a few of these. Our garden ended up being covered with soapy-minty-basily-vanilla smelling dog vomit.

Anyways, I will put the recipe and instructions up later! I just have to take Rocko to the vet for a check-up.

Updates later!
